Tory Conspiracy Or Harmless Fun.
Bob has reminded me to vote. I got the email a while back from Total Politics but forgot all about it.
I am not sure about the controversy surrounding Iain Dales’ top 10 blogs, and readers will remember that I am not a fan of the Tories, but it seems to me a bit of harmless fun and not to be taken seriously.
Here’s Dale’s page, and remember what they said:
“If you have your own blog, please do encourage your readers to take part. Last year, more than 80 blogs did so. We hope this year it will be far more than that. BUT, DO NOT list ten blogs you think your readers should vote for.”
So I will keep the list to myself, for now.

Everyone vote for my blog as #1 please! hehe, constantly under fire from New Deal providers including A4e, the DWP is worried… and so is a certain A4e employee. I am currently working on a proposed foid (freedom of information delivery) network spanning the comments over several blogs.

Harry, having read that page, I was about to comment but the setup for that blog does not encourage it (the options under the right click seem, strangely, turned off, could be my new firefox or that page)
I agree with much that you write, but it could be put more succinctly:
1. Labour will lose the next election because they are seen as largely anti-working class, in tone, in policy and attitude.
2. If Labour want to win I’d suggest a bit more old fashion old Labour values, welfare state, no PFI, no Lord Sugar/Digby-Jones and a bit of careful nationalization. Vestas would be a good example.
Even solid Labour voters are completely pissed off with New Labour and their antics.
Maybe the Labour Party should start thinking about it? It is not too complex.
