“Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.” Abraham Lincoln

Drunk Fascist.

Drink and fascism have a long history, from German beer cellars to Joerg Haider’s welcomed demise.

Apparently, this particular Austrian fascist couldn’t take his drink either, according to Reuters:

“Austrian media reported that the amount of alcohol in Haider’s blood was nearly four times the legal limit.”

Hmm.

I’m a reformed drunk, but an unreformed rightie. Odd.

  4. Can I be antifascist too, modernity? Or must I adopt pinkish-to-reddish politics to be welcome aboard?

I think what is telling, is how people react to his death, either by seeking to excuse him, blame others or generally exculpate that fascist scumbag
