Eamonn McDonagh at Z Word blog has a cautionary tale, taken from

Now I should know that site well, but after looking in at the anti-Jewish racism found on other Indymedia sites I don’t visit them often, thankfully.

I thought that the French man held his temper rather well, I doubt others would gladly be filmed in the street as he was.

Please watch the video, and around 2:30 you will hear “fucking Jews”, which is disgusting. I’ll bet that gets edited out pretty quickly, or taken down.

[Savvy users can keep a copy via a Firefox plugin. I like Youtubemp, it saves them to an MP4 format.]

We are often told that these activists have nothing against Jews, but they are more than capable and willing to use racial abuse against them, as the video clip shows.

  1. I don’t hear that kind of talk from anti-Zionist activists on the left. I hear more confused politics.

The main error of anti-Zionists, is believing it is more sinister than other nationalism. It’s like any other nationalism.

  2. Maybe you don’t hear it, but that’s what happened in Ireland, and I’ll bet that the activists concerned probably thinks of himself as an “anti-Zionist”.

and if you want to see more “anti-Zionist” racism visit any indy media site and make your above argument.
