Entertainment News: Tea, A Would-be Witch And Mel Gibson.

I suppose we shouldn’t laugh, but the idea of starting a political advert saying “I’m not a Witch…” is only something that a Tea Partyer could do.

This is Christine O’Donnell’s advert, and I dare you not to smile:

And below another clip from 1999 where she admits to being a Witch:

Ms. O’Donnell makes Dan Quayle look like a erudite scholar by comparison, and here’s a reminder of his abilities:

More humour from the States, apparently Mel Gibson’s one-time partner, Oksana Grigorieva, is hiring a lot of lawyers, some 39.

Ms. Grigorieva will need them, having put up with Gibson’s rants, assaults and his racism she’ll need all the help she can get.

I have a feeling that Mel might be up for Tea Party membership shortly

  3. wtf! no one needs 39 lawyers unless you’re a corporation. how many women out there actually have the luxury of hiring 39 lawyers to fight off their husbands or partners? and how many abused women are willing to go broke just to get their hands on money that they’re not entitled to? and fyi, even though mel gibson may be a racist pig, he has not been proven to have assaulted his ex.

    how typical

  4. I’ll grant, mod, that O’Donnel is a wee bit flakey. I’d still vote for her and I’ll note that most of the people appalled by her candidacy are the same ones who told me how important it was to place John Edwards one heartbeat away from the Presidency.

  5. Counterpoising them doesn’t work.

Christine O’Donnell needs to be judged on her own merits or lack of them.

“a wee bit flakey” ? Ha ha, and who says that North Americans don’t know understatement or satire 🙂
