What Now Libya?

with 2 comments

I am not sure what is *really* going to happen in Libya.

Will the popular uprising be enough to overthrow Gaddafi?

Or will he use his mercenaries to retake Tripoli, and then other cities?

How can unarmed civilians stand up against the paid murderers under Gaddafi’s control?

Will the Army units be enough to support the people’s revolt? I hope so, but the picture is unclear and Gaddafi is one murderous dictator who will do anything to stay in power.

  1. What will happen indeed, Gaddafi’s son had one thing right in his rambling phycotic speech, ‘Libya is not Egypt or Tunisia’. People in the west seem to think all the revolts happenings across the Arab world are similar, but Gaddafi is the Arab worlds longest serving paranoid lunatic dictator,Libya also holds the worlds largest oil reserves. Gaddafi’s stamp is on every aspect of life, he has ruled, arrested dissappeard and killed for 42 years, Libya is unlike anyother country in North Africa, the Middle East or the world in general. I truly truly fear for the people.

  2. What now?

Easy, let the widows and orphansof Pan Am 103 have a chance to beat the shit out of him after he is captured and do so until he begs for martyrdom.
